About Us | Our Donors

Did you know that the Museum of Life and Science is not a fully funded state or county organization?

The Museum depends on earned income from visitors, members and donors like you for 74% of our income.

As a nonprofit organization, we serve over 300,000 visitors each year and with your help are able to maintain & upgrade our exhibits and campus and provide quality educational outreach. Durham County and the State of North Carolina are generous supporters, providing us with 27% of our funding, but we must look to our friends to meet the cost of keeping the Museum a vital and educational resource for the whole community.
