and Science Summer Camp! We offer dozens of fun, learning camp sessions for children from pre-school to 8th grade. We have two camp locations - the Museum campus in Durham, and Estes Hills Elementary School in Chapel Hill.

| Need to drop the kids off before 9 a.m. or pick them up after 3 p.m.? No problem! Our official camp hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., but with our extended hours you can drop your child off at any time between 8–9 a.m. in the morning and pick them up between 3–5:30 p.m. in the afternoon. During these extended hours campers will be grouped by age and participate in games, stories and other activities. Museum-based campers will also explore exhibits. Pre-registration is required. Before and After Care is available 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. at the Museum and in Chapel Hill. | Register for the camp appropriate to the grade your camper will enter in Summer/Fall 2008. Four- year-olds must reach their 4th birthday by the first day of registered program. No exceptions. Proof of age may be required. Annual Membership must be valid at time of registration to receive the member rate. (Join now.) To Parents of Young Children: All campers must be potty trained prior to starting camp. To Parents of Children with Special Needs: The Museum is committed to full and equal opportunity for children to enjoy the camp experience and reasonable modifications will be considered. Children with serious behavioral, physical or psychological problems should have special guidance concerning their camp readiness. These problems should be discussed with Museum staff. The Museum reserves the right to decline the application of any child, or send home any child who, according to the Directorís discretion, is disrupting the experience for other campers. If a camper is dismissed due to behavioral/social issues, tuition is not refundable. Behavior Expectations: The Museum does not allow the use of tobacco, alcohol, illegal drugs, or weapons on its campus or its satellite location. By applying, you and your child understand and accept these responsibilities. Violators will be dismissed without refund. See information you will need to have on-hand to register. > back to top |

| All changes and/or cancellations must be made at least 14 business days in advance of the program start date to receive any refund. All refunds and changes are subject to a $30 service fee per person per camp. In case of insufficient registration, the Museum reserves right to cancel the program two weeks before start date.
