DINOSAURS! Become a paleontologist as you uncover clues from eons past. Dig for fossils, erupt volcanoes, and construct dinosaurs. We’ll create our own ideas about how these great creatures looked, sounded, and lived. Come and have a dino-mite week! Half-day option: July 7-11 Full-day option: July 21-25 |
Let’s Get Moving Use balls, wheels, pulleys, arms and feet to explore how things move on land. We ll roll, slide, jump and spin; practice walking like an orangutan or leaping like a frog. Half-day option: July 14-18 Full-day option: July 28-August 1 Beneath Your Feet Dig deep into the world of rocks, sand, and soil beneath your feet. Become a geologist by collecting rocks and panning for gems. Put on your miner’s hat and explore our bat cave. Use our mole tunnel to wiggle your way around roots, pipes, and worms. | Happily Ever After Join us for this imaginative mix of literature, art, and science! We’ll meet live animals, explore dragons and giants, track down that missing glass slipper, and more. Don’t miss out on this page-turning adventure! July 7-11, July 21-25 Dinosaur Detectives Unravel the mysteries of dinosaur life. Examine fossils, construct a diorama, and hatch an egg. Use your knowledge and imagination to make your own dinosaur models. July 14-18, July 28-August 1 |
Move It! Together we’ll look at wheels, tops, gears and pulleys to discover the many ways we move things from here to there. Investigate how gravity and friction work to speed us up or slow us down. We’ll test and measure our ability to move in different ways and compare our speed and jumping ability to that of other animals. 1 - 2 - 3 - Go! July 7-11, July 21-25 Subterranean Science Start your adventure near the center of the earth and zoom up toward the surface. As you investigate lava, caves, tunnels, rocks, and soil, you’ll also find out about the animals that live below–bats, worms, ferrets, and more. July 14–18, July 28–August 1 |
