Adult Volunteers
The Museum of Life
and Science is looking for adult volunteers! Our volunteers, and the
variety of experiences and talents they bring, help the Museum create
an environment of lifelong learning for more than 425,000 visitors each
year.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- US Citizen or lawful resident
- Completed Museum Volunteer Application
- Pass a background check
- Attend New Volunteer Orientation
Benefits
- Museum Volunteer uniform shirt after 20 hours of volunteering is completed
- Explorer
4 level membership after 100 hours of volunteering is completed– good
for free admission year round for you and up to 3 guests as well as all
other membership discounts and benefits. Once earned, the award
membership is renewable each year for as long as you volunteer!
- Special invitations to museum events and exhibit openings

All orientations are held 2:00 p.m.-3:00p.m. at the Main Museum Building. Orientation is open to the public and drop-ins are welcome, although prior reservation is preferred.
