Grayson's Cafe and logoThe Museum is proud to partner with Durham’s very own Grayson’s Café to provide on-site dining of traditional American favorites. Conveniently located across from the Ellerbee Creek Railway and near the Magic Wings Butterfly House, the Café offers indoor and outdoor seating.

Grayson’s Café at the Museum offers fresh seasonal menu items with daily specials ranging from warm chicken wraps and daily soups to crisp salads and ciabatta deli sandwiches. And don’t miss their tasty selection of assorted pastries and desserts. Grayson’s Café also has a healthy selection of children’s menu items perfectly sized for those little appetites.

The Owner


Arthur Grayson
is a graduate of the renowned Culinary Institute of America. Upon graduation he was awarded one of two annual fellowships as a Sous-Chef in the prestigious Escoffier Room. Arthur has trained at the Fontainebleau Hilton in Miami Beach and was the Chef at the Sands Restaurant Beach Club in Key West Florida. Upon moving to New York City, he worked as the Restaurant Chef at the United Nations Plaza and as Executive Sous-Chef at the St. Moritz Sheraton. Over the last several years, he has opened three successful restaurants here in Durham. graysonscafe.com
